SPINE SURGERY

• Evaluation and management of all spinal problems –Degenerative, Infective, Deformity, Spinal Tumors, Spinal Trauma, Ankylosing Spondylitis and other disorders
• Done posterior decompression and posterior fixation surgeries of cervical, dorsal, dorso-lumbar and lumbar spine as well as anterior surgeries at dorso-lumbar and cervical spine
• Worked under guidance of Dr.V K Gautam, H.O.D., Bhavnagar medical college in field of spine surgery including traumatic as well as non-traumatic problems of thoraco-dorsal and cervical spine
• Assisted complex spine surgeries (Deformity correction, Koch’s Spine, Anteroir spinal surgeries) with Dr.M.M.Prabhakar sir
• Posted for 4 months at Government Institute of Spine and Paraplegia Centre and learned about problems of paraplegia patients, their management and Rehabilitation
• Assisted surgeries of Cranio-Vertebral junction problems with Dr.Apoorv Acharya sir and Dr Saumyajit Basu
• Assisted Scoliosis correction surgeries of Idiopathic, congenital, syndromic and Adult degenerative cases with Dr Saumyajit Basu, Dr S rajasekaran and Dr Kennth Cheung
• Exposure to Spinal Tumor surgeries including Extradural, Intradural and Intramedullary tumors with Dr Saumyajit Basu and Dr Sandip Chatterjee (Neurosurgeon)
